Join young people with lived experience of care from right across Northern Ireland for a fun outdoor festival this August.

The first VOYPIC Manifestival will be held on Thursday 19 August, between 10.30am and 3.30pm, at Ballymena Showgrounds.

What is a Manifestival?

The Manifestival is a one-day festival, where together we will create a manifesto for change, a list of all the main things you tell us those in power should do to make life better for young people with lived experience of care.

The Manifestival will have three main ‘zones’…

Ideas Zone

We want to hear about the issues that matter most to you. The ideas zone features a range of stands, exploring young people’s experiences, opinions and ideas about issues around being in care, leaving care and life after care. Education, health, policing and justice, accommodation and housing- we want to hear about the things that matter to you.

What you tell us will help create our Manifesto for Change, ahead of the Northern Ireland Assembly election next summer!

Fun Zone

It’s been a long time since we were all able to be together. The pandemic has been tough for everyone, so now we can meet up safely, we want to have some fun!

We have giant inflatable games, a gaming bus (including VR), a petting farm and more! What better way to let your hair down and have fun with everyone at VOYPIC!

Food Zone

What’s a celebration without food?!? After using your energy in the Ideas and Fun Zones, head over to the Food Zone for refuelling!

We’ve got different food trucks to pick from, including hot food and an ice cream van. And make sure you have some sticky candy floss too!
