VOYPIC is the only charity in Northern Ireland dedicated to making sure children and young people in care are heard and their rights are respected.
Our Story
VOYPIC was created in 1993 by a group of young people in care, and professionals supporting them, who believed things could be better. And we still believe that today.
We work to make sure your voice shapes decisions, services and change.
Our Vision Is Simple:
Every child in care feels safe, valued and loved.
Every young person leaving care does so with dignity and respect, and thrives into adulthood.
What we do
We provide advocacy support, helping young people to have their say in the decisions about their lives and their care. We bring young people together, supporting them to explore their care and express their views and opinions. And we work with them to create change, learning from them to inform and influence decisions at every level.
