JobStart - Peer Support Workers
We’re looking for two care experienced young people, aged 21-25 years old, to join our team!
Through the Department for Communities JobStart programme, we are recruiting two part-time Peer Support Workers, to help us achieve extraordinary things for children in and leaving care. Each post is part-time (25 hours/week) and temporary (6 months). One is based in our office Belfast, and the other in our Ballymena office. Salary – £9.50/hour.
Closing Date – Tuesday 31 May

JobStart is a new scheme, run by the Department for Communities, to help young people who are at risk of long term unemployment, get into the job market by offering six month job opportunities with a range of employers, in all sectors across Northern Ireland.
It will help you develop your employment skills so that by the end of the six months you may:
be offered a job by the employer
have the skills and experience to help you find another job
progress into further education or training opportunities
