We want to spread some Christmas cheer among young people with experience of care. Would you like to help?
Christmas is a special time, and we want to make sure that every young person in care and leaving care can celebrate the festive period. Each year we distribute gift bags and Christmas hampers to young people in care and young care leavers across Northern Ireland, spreading festive cheer throughout the season.
This has been a difficult year for many, so we’re asking your help.
We particularly need your help in filling gift bags and hampers for young people, 16-25 years old, who have left care and are living on their own. Popular gifts include:
- Hats, Scarves & Gloves
- Stationery (eg. Pens, books, etc)
- Homewares and decorations
- Foods (please make sure all foodstuffs are ‘longlife’)
- Sweet treats
- Gift cards
Gifts can be dropped off to any of the VOYPIC offices however, due to current Covid-19 restrictions, our offices are not operating during our normal office hours.
Please call 07808777970 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a drop-off time or alternative collection.
