A panel of eight assembly candidates fielded questions on the criminalisation of young people in care, the age of criminal responsibility, educational and leaving care support as well as child and adolescent mental health services.

The panel consisted of Councillor Paula Bradshaw (Alliance, Belfast South); Conal Browne (SDLP, North Down); Lesley Carroll (UUP, North Belfast); Sammy Douglas MLA (DUP, East Belfast); Councillor John Kyle (PUP, East Belfast); Malachai O'Hara (Green Party, North Belfast); Carál Ní Chuilín MLA (Sinn Fein, Belfast North) and Councillor Niall Ó Donnghaile (Sinn Fein, East Belfast).
